Christmas spirit had been always in my mind closely related to North-Central European capitals. To my surprise, though, Bucharest does it amazingly well; A huge Christmas market and a fully decorated city.
Bucharest Christmas Market
Christmas Market lying all over the Piata Constitutiei with many smalls shops where you can buy, eat or drink all the winter goodies.

If you feel at any point that you want something more don’t forget that Old Town is in walking distance.
Unless you really enjoy being stuck in the traffic or looking desperately for parking, use Uber or metro (Unirii station).
City lights
Bucharest is most probably the most decorated city I have ever been so far. All boulevards are lighted and it is really worth taking a ride just to admire the view; be sure not to miss the roads Catargiu, Magheru, Aviotorilor, Kiselef etc.
